Default Weapon*R's new Scion only division....Monster MotorWorks

Due to the immense popularity of Scion brand of cars, and the hoards of owners looking for aftermarket parts, Weapon*R has decided to develop a complete Scion only division. The Monster MotorWorks division will offer a full line of performance products for your Scion, ranging from our current intakes to headers, suspension, and possinbly engine parts such as cams. This division will be dedicated to making your Scion perform as great as it looks.

All of the current Weapon*R products for Scions will be transfered over to this new line, and any new Scion products will be released under this new division. We are also releasing a tC Cold Air Box, Coolant and Power Steering Tanks, Coilover Suspension kit, and Rear Strut Bar.

tC Cold Air Box: $125 MSRP

We use Dzus race style fasteners for the airbox for quick install and removal, plus it adds a cleaner look than screws:

Our Ram Air kit can still be used with this airbox:

Coilover suspension. Aftermarket shocks should be used with this kit, as it is fairly stiff, and will blow the soft stock shocks easily. For a lower ride, we opted to leave out the helper springs, though they can be special requested and purchased separately. $200 MSRP

Coolant Catch Can. $125 MSRP This can will be available in about 2-3 months, we will also release an aluminum power steering tank ($110 MSRP) to match this one:

Monster Bar. This is a photo of our rear strut bar during the prototype phase. More gusseting will be added to further strengthen the bar's mounting points. This bar fits under the stock trunk tray, and clears the stock spare tire. $125 MSRP

We will also have seat brackets for the xB and the tC coming very soon! They fit Weapon*R, Sparco, and Momo seats as well. $85 MSRP
More photos and products will be coming very soon!

Not to sound nit picky... but..

On the coolant tank and airboxes.. are those just prototypes? I would assume the production models will have the welds cleaned up more? Also, what does the cold air box do? Does it have any parts to direct the air from beneath the car as a CAI does?

The catch can shown is our prototype. The final products will have clean edges like our current line of custom tanks:

The airbox is also a prototype. Its function is to shield the filter from the hot engine air, and with the addition of our Ram Air Kit, ducts air from the bumper right into the intake system.

Cams are an idea we've been playing with, as well as a plug and play stand alone ecu.

Yup! You got that one right, Ack154! :D

Ray, I had to go through and remove the prices from your big post up above, 'cause it really had become an "ad" and only sponsors can advertise on ScionLife (see the rules and the advertising info - the buttons in the grey stripe up at the top of this page)

So, Ray, you might want to look into becoming a sponsor of ScionLife.

Can a WeaponR porduct by any other name, be any less junky? - Shakespeare

I think not. Tell me exactly how bolting a bar across the trunk is supposed to stiffen the flexing of the strut tower in the rear. Isn't that supposed to be done at the mouting point of the strut itself? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

yeah im with the other guy, instead of a strut bar probly most of us would be more interested in a rear sway bar, although TRD has one it is way to soft. Hotchkis has the front and rear kits with the right stiffness but i only want the rear

this car has over-steer like crazy so if u wanna cancel it out u gotta make that back end stiff and leave the front alone, or put lil bit wider tires in the front sounds weird yeah but thats what works

Stiff rear bar = oversteer
Stiff front bar = understeer

And that applies to anything with four wheels. I find that the TRD rear bar in combination with the front bar makes for a very neutral platform... but everyone has a little bit different driving style.

i think you mean, understeer like crazy. on stock suspension, the car has too much understeer.

understeer, the front tires will break traction before the rear tires in a turn
oversteer, the rear tires will break traction before the front tires in a turn

i am totally up for the rear strut bar. any other future suspension parts?
