Default Weapon-R Damper users check up! READ PLEASE

For those who have been using the torque damper for months now, please recheck your damper again..

its possible that after driving months with this thing, it could loosen up its grip and lose its preformance..

how to check if that thing is wearing out?
- if you notice the whinning sound (when you first installed it) reduced with the damper ( or unusual signs of it changing like vibration and screeching noise)
- check your engine bay and wiggle the damper up and down hard as you can, if its literally moving up and down, its loose; when you first installed the damper and drove it for a week or so, it is still stiff as a rock.
- turn your car on and with your e-brake up, get on first gear and release the clutch slowly intill the car pushes forward; have a friend do this and you check the engine and see how much your engine vibrates. you will notice the difference when you first install the damper, the engine vibrates more less then when the damper is worn out.

a way to fix this is remove the damper, dissemble it (check whatevers messed up if possible; most likely not) and reassemble it. pretty much your retightening the damper...

ive done this today and i was relieved because i thought my car was losing performance after months of driving... actually i was losing my good launches.

it feels like i installed a damper for the first time again..

this should also relate to ingulls damper aswell...

It is not recommended for the consumer to disassemble the damper unit, as improper reassembly may result in damage to the damper, and/or your vehicle. Also, any disassembly of the damper units will result in the voiding of our manufacturer warranty of the damper kit. If you need service for your damper, please contact us directly with your request.
