I just order it today and i wanted to know if anyone is using it and how hard it is to install? I you could help thanks alot!

 

I have one somewhere in my shed . It's easy to install but the bracket that is comes with is total garbage. I broke mine less than a week after I installed it.

 

dont like it, broke on me in 3weeks
dont rec. engine damper since motor mounts are out now
but i have heard good things about Ingalls damper

 

Im happy with mine and it has served me well so far....The bracket did recenlty break on mine too, but they have since redesigned the bracket apparently. For what its worth mine lasted about 8 months before breaking at the welds. I am sending my damaged parts in to be replaced with the new revisions at no charge. Im sure either one will offer a nice performance improvement but be ready for some added engine noise in the cab and possibly some vibrations.

They brought me a new bracket to SEMA, to replace my old one, but I already had the new style one. That is customer service in my opinion. I recommend the weapon R peice as it has not had a single problem.

 

Do they sell a engine damper that connects to body of the car instead of the strut tower? I asked cause I really don't like the ideal of the engine damper being forced back forth against to the strut tower

Had it on for 5 months and 16,000 miles no problems with it breaking. It is better than nothing but I am awaiting on my motor mounts. The damper will be removed when motor mounts come in.

Finally came in today with the new bracket. Installing the bracket on the motor was a pain but i'm very very happy with the whole package

 

I have one and it broke too. they wanted me to send the old one back before they sent the new one. well i dont have all that time so i just re welded it and have had no probs. but now the shaft on mine is bending and rubbing on the housing. this thing has been junk imo. i cant wait for a real solution like motor mounts

 

They want us to mail it to them right? so I don't think it will fit in a regular envelope, that means special package delivery, not as cheap as regular mail.

 

My friend rewelded his like 3 times and finally gave up, my brackets never broke, but my shock crapped out.

 

I've seen the new design in person, looks allot better, more solid.
