so after 4 hours of not being able to get the stock header off i sucked up my pride and took it to a shop took them about an 1.5 hours charged me 60 bucks super cool people. but now when i put the car in reverse and my foot on the brake its makes a really loud clicking noise and shakes pretty bad. But only in reverse not drive or neautal. any body have any ideas? maybe its something just hitting something else?

I had some work done by my mechanic on my first exhaust system set up and he had to remove a bolt and reshape the heat shield to prevent the knocking sound. Haven't had a problem since....

When you put the aftermarket header on it will make the exhaust rattle more in reverse because the header isn't bolted down like the OEM header. My mechanic had to slightly adjust the heat shield because the exhaust was tapping the heat shield slightly. No matter what you'll get a little vibration in reverse, it's normal.

I've not had any "knocking" in reverse with aftermarket header. BadDude are you running the stock heat shield on an aftermarket header?

yea i have a CAI but it wasnt the problem. the headers/s pipe moved my exhaust back about 1/4 to 1/2 inch which put the bolts on the exhaust right against the tow hook under the car so it was hitting it pretty good. cut the tow hook out. problem solved.
