Default weapon r header without the s/c

im gonna get the s/c in a couple of months and i wunna get the weapon header installed before that and possibly thinkin about getting it within the next couple weeks. i was just wondering if there will be any gains without the s/c when its installed. im not sure if there will be too much air going through and not the right amount of backpressure so i might possibly lose some hp, any help?

you will probably see a 9-11 WHP increase. Getting a full header back exhaust set up...even if you delete your cats...wont rob you of too much back pressure and you will see an increase as long as the piping is 2.25

Yep It should fit perfectly fine. Mine does and it sounds awesome. Ark really did a good job with their resonator, since it blocks out pretty much all of the rasp. I don't really know about the gains, but I know that there some there especially from 2500 rpm to the red line.

you should get gains with the header, or any header for that matter. Hopefully you don't have the same issue I have with my Megan Header. It actually has the S/C shaft sitting on the runner... sucks...

i don't know if there is any negative against that, but the Tech said I may melt the bearing in the S/C. I just got my header jet-hot(ed) but he doesn't think it will be enough. Because it still gets hot...

Do you know if any other Megan header owners with the SC have that issue?

I have searched and searched, only Yankee21 had the Megan header. But he said it was close. But mine actually touches it. I don't know if I should make a post, but I've searched...

I thought that if you had a header or intake with the S/C it voided the warranty on the S/C? I might be wrong buy I thought I read that somewhere.

^ not necessarily.. but it may be harder to get the S/C warrantied if you have the header on there. The intake depends also...

i have the weapon-r/mmw header, got it extreme sterling jet hot coated, the dealership was nice enough to install it while installing the supercharger, no big deal. they have a good amount of clearance between them.

also, after my 2 hour drive to frostburg, i actually popped the hood, and touched the header for a split second, and it was hot, but not scorchingly hot, i don't think the supercharger will be bothered by it.

WTF drax, you got hands of steel or something? My hands catch on fire if I touch my header after the car has been on
