ok well basically i have been searching and figured i would ask this and get some input. basically in the next 2 weeks i hope. i want to order ether of the 2. i want to do a sri. just because thats what i want lol. so my question is which will be better in the sri setup and read about the weapon-r and heard alot of good things about it. being the weaponr is desigened for sri i figured it would be better as a sri. i know injen is the best by far cai wise and also shows good gains. but i cant decide and wanted to get some input on both. and which you would suggest to get. basically i know intakes dont gain much and more show then go. but just wanted to get some input. thanks

 

Differences are too minimal between the two short rams, I would just go with whatever you can find the cheapest.

I personally have the weaponR with a K&N filter because the foam was too much of a PITA to clean. Foam does a better job as a filter though.

 

What year is your car? Weapon R just released their titanium short ram intake for 07-09 and it looks pretty sweet. Goes for $289 I believe.

yea if they made that for a 05-06 there wouldnt be a thread lol. but basically im leaning more towards the weapon-r. but i was just curious.

 

I plan to get a weapon R SRI, I might just get the regular polished version.

 

both company makes good intake systems. but Weapon R has dual piping

 

just buy an ebay intake and then put a good filter on it like a K&N or AEM..
