Weapon R Intake....simple install? roflmfao
In all seriousness, the intake is cake to install. Save 1 thing. The stock clamp that comes off the throttle body. You are supposed to reuse this for the WR adapter. Well, after attempting to put it on the adapter for the better part of 30 mins I gave up and used one of the supplied clamps.
If anyone here had this problem and got it to work, please explain. Other than that it was a joke to install this thing even without instructions, which I didnt get
But it sounds incredible. Highly recommend this for your CAI choice of mod.

I thought it was a short ram and not CAI.

Well, short ram or cai, either way the problem lies within that supplied adapter fitting into the stock tb clamp.
Has anyone discovered the secret to making it fit? I really dont feel content or sure of myself having used the supplied clamp for the tb aspect. I dont wanna have to peek inside my engine after x amount of miles to assure it is still holding.
And wtf Weapon R? Why no instructions supplied?

Hey I wrote a quick how to on this intake and it's been a great short ram intake so far, 2,000 + miles no probs.

I used the stock clamp for the TB and had really good luck getting it to fit properly. I would give the stock clamp another try; make sure the adapter hose is as far down onto the TB as it will go. Then place the stock clamp towards the bottom of the adapter on the TB and then pull on the adapter a few times to make sure it's on good. Then you should be good to connect the intake tube to the TB adapter. Good luck with the install, any other questions just let me know.

Yea, I appreciate your write up. I actually had to use it as reference when I installed mine. Like I said, it came without directions.
I wasted about 30 mins at least with that clamp. I was trying to put the clamp around the adapter. I didnt think to put the adapter on the tb first and then try to put the clamp on. But Im not sure if that would work either.
When I am in the mood to redo the install I will attempt this method.
Thanks again for the walk through.
