What Engines Could We Swap For Ours?

Just out of curiousity what Engines could fit under the hood of a tc? By any chance could a Celica Gts Engine fit under it? If not what one would.

a celica GTS motor would definately fit, i dont know why you would want to???

its a 1.8, ours is a 2.4 so uhh, your downgrading, plus ours has more potential.

if i were to do it...then i would want to swap the camry's V6 but thats just me.

i would actually probably enjoy the GTS motor a little more than the camry engine...but that's just me

LOL... dont get me started on turbo. lol i just spend an hour argueing with my friend, cuz he turboing his RSX-S this summer, and he was tryin to convince me that i should turbo my car, but i lost count of how many times i told him i couldnt afford it.... but then i came to the conclusion that if i work 4-5 jobs this summer i could possibly scrap the money for insurance and turbo... maybe even have enough left over to pay my hospital bill because i overworked myself 1/2 to death lol.

haha... not only will you have to work 4-5 jobs to get the turbo, you have to work antoher 4 to fix your car when the turbo messes it up!!!

Yeah if you can get a drag team to help u out that is

But yeah that 1.8 motor would suck for us due to the weight of our car. I think the GTS is at 2500 lbs? But yeah I couldn't give up that torque we have due to the bigger motor.

how many times has this been discussed? someone please use the SEARCH function...the big red button at the top...i think the mods need to make it flashing neon pink or green or something...

here are some. notice how the majority are LOCKED. thats becuase they get outta hand, and for the most part, nobody has done one. just for some food for thought, use the search button up top, typen in "tC engine swap" then click the 2nd circle under the line you wrote what you wanted to search for. then to narrow the search down you can even pick the forum you want to search in. its a great future... use it.
