Default What exhuast for header and intake?

I have the scion tc performance stage II air intake, and alphawerks header, and I am looking for any cat back to put on my car that will compliment the other mods soundwise, i.e that doesn't sound like crap. Any suggestions/personal experiences, any information would be apreciated thanks

The CC's are known to rub against the underside of the rear fender, causing paint chips and sometimes burn marks. I wouldnt go with a CC. I'd go Injen or TRD IMHO.

god damn that draxas looks nice. Since it comes with a cat, would it be considered a legal street mod?

i think there was a creative compacts full-catback exhaust with a header combo video here somewhere...

it is the least raspy sounded combo I/H/E ive heard on the tC.... i think it would be a good choice....

try draxas if you like, since its new you can be the first to complain about the noise in this forum. hahaha

Where have you heard this? Paint chips, burn marks?! I've never seen any complaints on this site, in fact I've heard nothing but good things. Also, Injen and TRD are axle-backs, not worth the money. You got proof to back up your claims?

Here's a pic of the CC full exhaust:

You can see that it comes nowhere near the fenders.

Credit goes to Kumitsu for a pic of the exhaust.

Yeah i just put the Draxas on too...last Sunday and it sounds amazing..i only have an intake right now but i will be getting a header soon....i will let you know how it sounds but i am assuming it will sound good too. Also after putting on the draxas exhaust and looking at the CC one there are WAY less bends on the Draxas...not sure if it matters but i would think less is better?!?!

Yeah that is the pic of the aluminized one, just an example of it not causing the issues listed above. As far as flow, it shouldn't be that big a deal, the bends are all mandrel bent and mantain size throughout.

bends to make a differance.... that U-turn is very restrictive

take a look at the bends on the draxas.... https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...532&highlight=
