I just got my Megan catback in the other day and i must say...its kind of loud! I mean i knew it was going to be louder than stock obviously but its almost rediculous and yes the silencer is in....anyways i have the K&N cold air intake with the dc sports headers. It sounds good at idle...a nice low growl! But even just normal driving its a little louder than what i expected but also doesn't sound as good as i expected...its a little high pitched not excluding the rasp....so i know i need to get a resonator. so if anyone has this similar setup or even just the exhuast, how does yours sound and what size resonator did you add if you added any? Also if you did add a resonator where did you go to get it installed and how much did it cost you? how much of a difference did you notice in sound afterwards? Thanks everyone.....

i have the drift spec w/cai... its very loud.. deep and loud. i dont really like it... some times i do.. but most i dont..lol.

 

I used a Magnaflow resonator. Make sure it's longer than the standard 18" version and 4" round. It will make a huge difference.

 

Mine gets here tomorrow, I guess I better get my earplugs ready.

 

I have the Megan OE-RS exhaust, and I loved it....until....I added the Megan Headers....Now I sound like a 88 civic on steriods...Thinking of taking the headers off for the daily drive.....Other than that Im loving the OE-RS...
