WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT ALPHA WERKS HEADERS !
I purchased my Alpha Werks headers two weeks ago from House of Scion ( great company) So once I got the headers I inspected them.... I found a tiny hole where the pipes are welded to the collectors, I double checked it with a flash light and yep it was a hole. Needless to say I was blessed with another set of headers and I checked those and they were cool. So to anyone buying any header look it over really well and use a flash light to see if there are any areas that didn't get sealed properly; even something as small as a pin hole is not good.
Well the headers look really nice:
If you plan on getting the Alpha werk headers you need to:
*buy a new gasket (the one on the cylinder head)
*bend the braket that supports the dipstick
*buy two bots for the header braket M10/1.25 metric 12mm
*make sure you clean all the stuff off the header before initial start up.
*obtain an o2 sensor simulator of some kind.
And yes it is louder, I have a CAI and TRD exhaust and still.. but truly, it's worth it !
