I was just wondering what exactly is an oil catch can, what it does, and what are the benefits of having it. I pretty much have an idea but just wanted someone to give me the knowledge i need to understand it better. Thank You Guys. I really do appreciate it.
There are a couple of benefits.
For one - it traps oil vapors from your crankcase and prevents it from entering your intake system. There are two ports on our valvecover - one leads to the intake and the other is to the intake manifold. Both ideally should be connected to a two-inlet catch can - and an outlet on the catch can to the intake manifold and/or intake - or you can vent to atmosphere.
The 2nd benefit is for boosted applications - it relieves the built up pressure inside the crankcase.

FYI: Import Tuner Mag just did a review and dyno test on catch cans, and say they got an additional 2hp. And it definitly keeps ur valves and ports clean.

$39 shipped is the cheapest i've heard. Most are near $80. Where did you put it? I saw posts and pics of an install, and it's under the battery. You can't se it there, but we know we don't have much room to play.
