what size are the headbolts?

Default what size are the headbolts?

what torx size are the head bolts we tried a 55 i believe and its a little loose and were going to try a 60 in it tonight .... btw the head is almost off hahahah finally

and it gets shipped out nice week for a huge overhaul

PS we were running 13.2 on 5.5 psi

were looking to hit 12.5

torx bolts? i thought it was either a 12mm or 14mm reverse serated

what do you mean by reverse serated?

we tried the 60 and it doesnt fit and we went back to the 55 but the whole righty tighty lefty loosey ____ does not work it wont budge

any ideas on how to get them out without destroy the tops of the bolts

we tried to remove them with T-55 torx sockets

ok so no one has a clue to what type of tool is needed to remove head stud bolts on the tc?

I looked it up on alldatapro and it says to use a 10 mm bi-hexagon wrench (whatever the heck that is). Hope this helps.

yea i found out from my friend last night

snapon sells them they are headstud removers for 21 bucks

heads off nuked 2 exhaust valves due to a delema with the wastegate not opening properly ...all in good hands shall be back port and polished with 1mm bore over within a month!

a serated is like a 12 point socket, but male instead of female.
