Default what are the tC 's engine weak points

I need the help of people on this forum to simply explain what the weakest points are on the tc. This post has nothing to do w/ the exhaust or header .... im talking about other parts (like the pistons) and anything that should get upgraded for future turbo use. Lets say I wanted to do things 100% right and wanted to make sure my engine and other parts are safe.....what would I need to upgrade? Im talking about running a 320whp setup. Pistons should be upgraded .... what else? I know there are many people with many many views on this. Please post here so everybody knows the facts.

According to TurboCustomz, the pistons are the weak spot...The intake manifold has also proven to weak as ZPI managed to pop one spraying a 125 shot.

Pistons, rods, valve train... aka springs retainers. Cams be nice too once they come out. Id also say for performance wise new Intake Manifold when it comes out too.

what should be done at the same time as the pistons? ....to save money on labor and time (in the long run).

I'd venture to say you could simply drop pistons in the car and run 320whp safely for a VERY long time. You, of course, would need a clutch but from my experience, and from what The Drive Shaft Shop has told me, the axles are more then able to handle that power level.

If you wanted to go all out, the sky is the limit. Sleeves, rods, pistons, rings, block gaurd, headwork, valves, springs, retainers, cams, lsd, clutch, axles, intake manifold, balance shaft removal kit, fluid dampner, fuel pump, fuel lines, fuel pressure regulator, ect ect ect.

Total newb here, but.... if you were to do all of what you just said TurboCustomz.... wouldnt it pretty much be a new engine but the same block of metal encasing it all?

BTW: i like reading your replies, im learning quite a bit off of them

i was talking w/ Charles (turbocustomz) and he was saying that if you are going to be running less then 10lb boost - the stock setup is fine. its when you up the boost past there that pistons would be a good idea. From what I gather, if you are going to do pistons you would wanna do more work since the engine is being taken out of the car to begin with. I was going to get a bunch of work done but after talking w/ him .... i dont think this is the time. Im gonna focus on getting my whole header back setup done when draxas finishes their header. then im gonna get my s/c installed and go from there.

is anybody gonna make a new intake manifold for the tC... or is it not worth it. I saw on the slowboy racing site that some intake manifolds for the 4g63 were yeilding like 30 and 40 horses when they were tuned and stuff. but i doubt the tC would yeild anything near that. maybe with the supercharger it would have a little bit more.
