Why is my car slower with headers?

I do not see the stock rods/pistons holding up with constant nitrous injection unless its a real small shot. You have to also take into consideration the cost of refilling the tank and the safety aspect of having a tank in your trunk.

Ok, so here is the latest update! A few days ago I cleared my CEL and me and my buddy went head to head on the highway last night and I kicked his butt. So obviously the CEL must have changed my fuel trim and other things too. "Good to know."

You should check your spark plugs and check for codes with a scan tool.

If your header is throwing a cell add a spark plug extender (anti-fouler) to it. I had to add two small and one large. I would start with adding one large and one small and see if the CEL goes away
