Am I missing something? Brand new Borla exhaust for $255?

 

wtf? haha aren't brand new borlas like $500+?
i wouldnt trust it

 

upon closer inspection...the muffler in the photos says "magnaflow"

 

also, the picture looks like the pipes are welded together...

 

There is an option to change to Borla at the bottom, also $255. Is it only for certain pieces maybe?

im going to guess they weld on the borla, magnaflow etc mufflers to some POS catback

 

also, it is made from aluminum, you want your exhaust to be made from stainless steel.

 

255 is for aluminized steel. 330 for stainless. i've bought from them before, was satisfied

 

Really? 330 for a brand new Borla? Same as like straight from the Borla website? Gotta be a catch right

 

i bought the midpipe kit. i dont know about the borla. when their SS tubing order was late they emailed me and let me know, they gave me free flanges, gaskets, bolts and hangers and welded the flanges and hangers on free of charge since i decided to wait for their order instead of getting a refund. i was a very satisfied customer

 

not bad at all.

 

wow this is my new favorite place to go....i can make my dream exhaust with their exhaust kit......mmmmmmmmmm

 

This is a good shop - they're known as "Miami Mufflers" down here. They made my 3" s-pipe and 3" exhaust... all mandrel bent.

i dont get it though.. i thought custom didnt use brand names? hence custom?

custom as in pieced together and welded as well until a bolt-on that comes ready to install.

 

I thinking about using these guys to make a custom exhaust. Can anyone give any possible reasons why this wouldn't be a good idea? It really does seem too good to be true, but sometimes the modgods shine upon us...

 

wish i had found them earlier. would've made things a lot easier and saved me some money. i have my ideal exhaust now thanks to them at a great price too!

 

The prices are great but I would like to see some more reviews regarding them. I assume the kit includes everything to do it yourself. Is the pipe flanged so it can be bolted onto the mid-pipe? The pic says it is but I would confirmation!

 

I have a custom exhaust from my injen axle back all the way up to the down pipe and it sound amazing.. Go Custom. or piece by piece and spend money for brand names.. i spent 175

 

I plan on getting something but do not really have time to find a reputable shop and want something I can install myself. I want it to look good and be cost effective. Knowing axle backs to not add much hp does not bother me. It is either this website or a Strup, which I had on my xA (rest its soul)!
