Will a cold air intake give my tC the extra kick to win...check out the vid

I know a Cold Air wont make it super fast but will it give me that little push to beat this car...manual saturn sl2 with 2.0 twin cam. I raced another auto tc once with cold air and he pulled on me by a little around half a car at 50 MPH....If so so I can buy this
