Default Windshield Wipers Wont Work!!!

My wipers suddendly just stopped working one day a while back. I immediatly checked all of my fuses, multiple times. I then ordered a new windshield wiper motor. Completely replaced it and it STILL wont work! What could be causing this and how do i get it fixed?!

If you are having the same problem as everyone else, then your eyes might be playing tricks on you. Are your wipers trying to move, but just aren't because they are loose, and the the spline is just spinning? I'm sure if you bought a new motor, then I doubt this, but you never know. Make sure the nut under the tab for the wiper blades is cranked tight and then maybe try. Otherwise, it might be something malfunctioning in the steering column.

i would say the switch has failed. try to give the motor 12 volts or what voltage it need to see if it works.

The motor does turn them both at the same time, however I think they might be independent in the aspect of you turning one and the other stays. Do what this guy above says, put 12 volts right to the motor, bypass everything else, then you'll be able to narrow it down.

I need to check the manual, I havent had a chance to look yet. Do you have the owners manual? It will tell you in there.

Did you ever find a solution? I think mine is doing the same thing. I turn the wiper on and it doesn't budge.

It's probably loose. Take the tabs off of the arms where they are bolted to the splines. Tighten them up, and I'm sure they will work. The design is weak and they loosen a lot after being put under any load such as snow, hence the time of year.

Already tried that and it didn't do anything. Weird thing is they were literally working when I left my my driveway and stopped as soon as I pulled onto the main road.

Anyone know of a way to test the wiper motor and the switch?
