Well... I suppose that it would work if they claim it's for a tC... but who knows what brand it is or anything... IMO, it wouldn't be worth just the ****.

hmm well how about what would be better randode one or cc one? does the randode one come with a whole new mounting boot without having to modify the stock one to take out the metal piece?

The only other one that comes with the new bracket to mount in place of the other is the TRD shifter.

so the randode one doenst come with new brackets? I have a type r shift **** that fits fine just its so small when i put it on you can really see how huge the stock shifter is, not to mention the boot doesnt come up to it. its about 2 inches away from where the boot comes up to. so i decided to get shorter shifter after seeing how huge the stock one really is dont wanna pay 150 though.

^^you have the cc shifter right? How is the quality of it? does it look like it would break? does it really feel a lot better? and do you think cc shifter would be able to fix the gap between the new shift **** and the boot like i said its around 2" i measured.

The CC one is nice. Quality is good from what I can tell. I have no complaints. My g/f has one too and loves it. It's a tighter feel than the stock. It loosens up a little after bit, but not too much.

I'm not sure about the ****. The shifter is about 1.5" lower, but there's no way to know if the boot will actually come all the way up or not.

I use the TWM Stage 2 and it works great. Doesn't come with the assembly, but that doesn't matter. You don't see the assembly and it does nothing anyway.

With one of their weighted ***** it looks great :D

I highly doubt its the real intergry type r ****, its was jsut called a type r ****, its chrome, very small. Here is the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/03-SC...spagenameZWDVW

I mus say I got this and was expecting to be dissapointed Iam a perfectionist and if it donts look like its good quality I get annoyed and usually thorw things out (happend with pedals that i got aluminum my ___, painted) But this **** is def pretty good quality. Its not coated its real steel no cheap plastic. and fits just fine but liek i said youll need to cut the hight of the shifter it looks disgustingly huge like a truck transmission with the **** on. There is also one in black.

Ok first of there is no such thing as JDM for a tC and this has been talked about many times before. If it had JDM and tC in the same sentence, dont buy it because its probibly garbage! I would go with either the TRD or B&M raing short shifter. They may be a little bit more expensive but why do we want to turn these great cars into the next Honda Civic, it makes me sick haha. Stick with quality parts guys and girls, you get what you pay for!

Yeah ^^^ was thinking what he said. I never even open anything that has scion and JDM in the same tag. Oh well though I guess more people see their products. Personally I love the B&M short shifter, but thats just me.

Ok, I know that there is no jdm tc. However you guys arent 100% correct either. JDM means that there is a part out there in japan w/e it is that fits your car normally you dont want to gamble and that part is already there on your car just in japanese version. But certain parts fit from differnt cars while the tc is not jdm its still a toyota and shares a lot of things similar with other toyotas, there for some other jdm parts that can fit a tc ex, a shiftknob.

I usually stay away from ebay parts that advertaise like that but that one seemed a little more reputable.

Anyways I got my shiftknob that looked how I wanted and Iam happy. Now if i can find one that looks just like the rsx one and fits our car ill be set. (the rsx one is higher quality so I want it)
