well i heard you can get custom cams for a tc and make it much better performance...but i have no idea how, the cost, and very little knowledge of it...anyone give me some good info on it?

 

if your not t/c or s/c... dont worry about it

 

if you don't need it, i wouldn't go through that trouble...

 

expensive. both to buy and/or have made, and then even more to install.

to give you an idea, the high performance cams from RIPP mods made especially for supercharged tC's are like 700-800 dollars. then you pretty much gotta open up your engine, which is very expensive and not an easy task.

and they only promise 15% increase in horsepower WITH supporting mods.

unless your going to be pushing some really high boost, don't worry about it.

 

well im doin the s/c for sure with exhaust, pulleys and header...so i was just wondering if its that big of a difference in performance, or not even worth it

 

if you got the money for it, do it... BUT you do have to send back your OEM cams for them as a core. If not, the price goes up more without the core exchange...

nvm i found it, but i shud have enough money buy the summer to do that, anyone know the hp for a s/c with custom cams, header, puleys and full exhasut?

 

can you install those as soon as you order them, or is there something you have to do first?

 

you'll need to get your s/c tuned with some piggyback system afterwards as well

 

one, you would have to have your existing cams taken out of your engine and sent to be made. and your tc has to be supercharged, and then once they are installed, you have to have the car tuned to work with the new cams i believe.

 

hmmm, so i wouldnt be able to drive my car for awhile?
