so i have an HKS hi-power exhaust and my buddy want to sell me is perfect alphawerk header for only $80.00. should i buy it. wat do you guys know about the alphawerks header

the HKS is a little raspy to begin with and its a large exhaust, since your putting on a header, its safe to say that your cars N/A.

so basically what im gettin at is what 1GreektC said. itll sound raspy as hell without a big resonator.

well as long as its a large one, you should be fine. its really a personal preference thing. just depends on what you consider raspy and how much of it you can take, ive seen ppl put 2 large resonators on because they couldnt stand it.

no ive never needed one so i have no idea.
but if you search on here you will find more than enough results.

dude i got my buddy's megan header and S-pipe for $150.....and i was miserable....never revved past 3200rpm bc the sadness would kick in....i say dont do it cause its cheap....in any case make sure you get a massive resonator!

get the header, it's a better tc with it. i got an aero25 resonator for the rasp.

 

alphawerks is one of the better headers...get it and resell it at the least...

 

aeroexhaust.com has the AR25 for $57

 

save the money..

 

get the header then go to a local shop and have a resonator welded on your midpipe and youre set
