yet another exhaust post
all right guys I have a list and i need some insight into my exhaust plans, I would like to know any problems you guys have had dealing with some of these sites I plan to purchase from and any hiccups I may encounter with this combo.......so hear go's
Header: Strup
Place: www.hopupracing.com
Price: $349
Mid pipe: Meagen racing
Place: www.speed-element.com
Price: $169.99
Axle Back: Injen
Place: www.sportcompactonly.com
Price: $335
I already understand the cell issue with headers on our cars and plan on a fix for that(and praying it works ). I also understand I'm in for some rasp with this setup but I don't want to spend the extra green or time on a more custom set up since i am determined to go boost and my exhaust plans will change accordingly. I just want to make sure I'm not going to get screwed by fitment issues and online parts dealers. Oh yeah if you guys know of a cheaper place to get these I'm all ears(as long as its not e-bay). Thanks alot guys

wesellcarparts has the s-pipe for way less... send him a PM...
and if you are going turbo as boost, then don't get the header and just wait till you get that. if you are getting the S/C, then go for it...

well it looks like i may get the exhaust sometime between the 7th and 11th, its taking longer than i thought. I should have used my credit card it would have been faster than a money order. Hey tceeder how was the fit and finish of your s-pipe?

With your setup, I highly recommend chopping out the megan "resonators" and welding in these:

and...
http://www.verociousmotorsports.com/...er-In-Out-1151
An extra 160 bucks, yes, but the sound quality will be unmatched, especially since you're going with a header/canister combo. I have these two products on my skunk2 exhaust with dme header & jvt s-pipe and the sound is just perfect without any loss in performance. Oh and on the vibrant "muffler", it's really just a beefed up resonator with a straight-thru core. Good luck man.
