Default ZPI stage 0 question

This might be a stupid question, but I'm still
learning about performance parts. So anyway
Does the zpi stage 0 turbo kit eliminate the first
cat on our car? I'm gonna buy either this kit or the s/c
in the next week but i'm just clearing up some minor
concerns before I make my choice.

I also am looking into the stage0 for the first 1/2 of next year and a friend of mine has noticed that the welds on the Manifold. can someone reply to this because I need some feedback. Anyway.... it would make sense to me that in time air holes will form where the points are.

All of out turbo kits elminate the cat. You can add a hi-flow cat to our catback if you wanted to.

All non-cast manifolds are welded, our manifolds come with a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser against cracking

this might be a dumb question ...hence the dumb question.... why not come out with a cast version? ...cost?
What is the performance gain when added a innercooler to the stage0?

I haven't seen the zpi intercooler for sale by it self
anymore on their site, what happened? Yeah, and
what are the gains when combined with the stage 0?

What have you guys with turbos done to get rid
of the cel after getting kits installed? Is there
anything to do that?

I had a Megan header for about 6 months prior to turbo, so I did the 02 sensor antifouler mod (about $4.00) and when I went turbo, I still did not get a CEL.

I also know ZPI is in the process of doing a cast version because they can't keep up with the welding needs and it's alot less labor expensive.

As for FMIC...I'm waiting for ZPI to do one for me now.

The cast version is where my interests are. I dont know for a fact but I would assume that many people would feel the same way because you are putting out a quality product but that one area needs work.

I had a cast one on my IS - it cracked. No warranty. I say you're safe both ways. Warranty = GOOD

we are in the process of getting our tubular cast manifolds done. This is a cutting edge design that will surely impress. Stay tuned to the site and we will keep you updated to this.

I hate being a pain in the azz with the questions but so I can plan ---- what time frame are we looking at? Do you think this will be done by April 2k6?

Also, the ZPI catback exhaust, is this a quiet exhaust? Im looking to get the quietest exhaust as possible and the deepest grunt as possible.

I think these casts will be out much sooner than later. ZPI gets a lot of orders and wants to keep up with all of them!

also - I know that the stage1 needs premium gas -- I would assume that the stage0 needs the same. Is there truth to this or is 89oc ok?
