Default ZPI vs Creative Compacts S-Pipe?

Anybody have any opinions? I am contemplating on purchasing an s-pipe! The CC s-pipe is stated to yield 4-6 hp. Anybody hear anything about ZPI s-pipe power gains?

And I know there is a $50 price difference, CC being cheaper.

Anybody have either a ZPI or CC s-pipe? Any recommendations?

I'm pretty much looking for a good HP to Dollar ratio... If power gains are the same... I'm gonna go with CC.

I think the ZPI one for some reason is designed better, or maybe because of the 50 dollar price differance i think it is. Go with the ZPI one.

I am planning on coupling it with a ZPI S-pipe Back exhaust... For obvisous reason, I should go with the ZPI s-pipe... but if power gains are the same, i would go with CC...

But now the issue is Fitment... Will the CC s-zipe fit with the ZPI S-pipe back exhaust? B/C i assume the ZPI's pipe will first good.

IMHO, if -I- were buying any SYSTEM i'd try and have it be as complete from the same manufacturer as I could. In the grand scheme of things, $50 is not that much. So, I'd buy a system in as complete form as possible, which means, get the ZPI since you -already- are getting the mid-pipe back exhaust from them.

Cheers.

May want to take into consideration the fact that the zpi s-pipe connection at the header does not use the pivoting flang, it just digs into the donut gasket.

You also might want to take into consideration that someone dynoed their car with a ZPI s-pipe and gained 8-10hp.

I hear the New Megan S-Pipe is 2.5" all the way through, for about $125 shipped...

The CC S pipe should have the same gains as the zpi S pipe, both are 2.5" pipes and the bends are pretty much the same. I think the 8-10 was with a header.

I heard that the ZPI install the o2 sensor a little bit further away from the exahust manifold. Is this correct?

No, I don't recall there being a header equipped. I couldn't find the thread with the dyno. Anyone else care to search for it?

Our s-pipe has shown 11whp gain with the addition of the s-pipe on to a car with a header and a TRD axle back.

Our S-pipe is has no fitment issues with our new design and is the only dyno proven unit on the market. Our s-pipe is also bent in a fashion that does not make the s-pipe the lowest part on the car. I am unsure of the CC pipe but I know the megan piece hangs really low.

Our 02 sensor is relocated.

I love ZPI's pruducts, and if it wasnt for the WR header coming with the s-pipe, then i would have bought that one.

I guess I'll be going with ZPI for sure... because of the great things I've heard about their customer service and ZPI themselve responded to my post. THANKS and It would couple good with my ZPI exhaust. I just need to start saving to get there s-pipe and crank pulley in the same order.
