Yes many have with the turbo kits. The stock clutch is crap in my opinion. I would say it should have an average life of 60K miles but have heard of allot of people not getting 40K out of them with minor mods.

On the other hand allot of people cannot drive stick worth a crap even though they think they do "you know who you are, sitting at red lights with the clutch depressed etc... hahaha"

Is the clutch something that is covered by the factory warantee? Like, if it burns out cause you get the s/c, will they replace it? Or is it considered a wearable item, like shocks?

It's a wearable item, like shocks and brake pads.

Yea, my stock clutch held over 320 whp. What a POS. I hardly consider that crap when the car started with about 140 wheel. Not to mention that 40K is not bad when the evo guys are replacing stock clutches at 10-14K miles with a 1400 dollar dealer labor ticket. Consider yourself lucky.

You might want to consider selling the cap to someone who got their supercharger installed by the dealer. This would allow them to swap their pully, and if anything goes wrong put the extra cap on and take it to the dealer.

That dosen't matter I've traded in cars to scion already . They don't check for any of that period. It just looks better if the cap is there, and I can tell them anything and they eat it up . Been there done that.

G35c is sooo damn fun to drive. By far the best setup for a car i've had. No where near as fast as my honda, but i have zero desire to even mod it. I just get it and drive it and love it.

That's not gonna happen. I'll be getting the Vortech Supercharger kit for my G35. I can't leave any car I buy stock . It's a sickness yeah I know .

No debt here bro. I just have a very good job that pays me extremely well. I'm very well taken care of. My parents are the ones with the mega bank accounts though . I wish I had what they do.

why not just strap a turd to your engine then, the Vortech fuel managment is junk. to date no one has really come out with a correct solution that isn't running piggyback to stock ECU. You can halfass it if you want, but for the 35k i paid in cash, i won't half ___ on my DD car. its either full standalone with real control over timing, or nothing. Hence why my G35c has 18k miles and isn't modified. Although that 600whp civic in my garage could have something to do with it too

I just can't convince myself that a backseat and a little different body is enough to justify the $10k price difference between the G35 and 350Z. The 350Z is damn good bang for the buck! and that leaves you $10k to mod it to cost as much as the G35. That's why I igot the tC instead of the RSX (more my price range!) I could either get an RSX and leave it stock or get the tC and mod it.
