ZPIracing installs TRD supercharger***W/dyno charts**
I really wonder if the re-flash is enough to deal with a stage 1 head on a TC fellas????? This could eliminate the need for Emanage. You need to dyno a re-flash vs. emanage on a simple tc setup with a head swap.
the S/C feels slower than the stage 0 but the power delivery is different so it is hard to tell. We will be at the dyno in the morning and we will be doing some testing. No air box, air box with out the air silencer, open header etc...to give us an idea how the car will react to parts. This is the same dyno that we do all of our runs on so we will be able to see a some what accurate comparison to the stage 0 dyno chart. We will keep you posted as we continue to develop parts and come up with new ways to make your tC run a little better.
ZPI, 3 Questions.
1. do you think you guys could custom fab the kit so that it can use an external BOV?
2. could you dyno it with the S-Pipe and stock header/exhaust.?
3. Have you considered making a hard-pipe kit to replace the rubber hoses they use for intake piping to the airbox and to the throttle body?
My SC will be here tomorrow, i am dyno'ing this week stock, then having the sc installed friday and i'll have it dyno'd again. I'd then like to put the S-pipe on and dyno that with stock exhaust and header.

main question of mine: would an aftermarket FMIC void the warranty?

I can't think of any possible way that a FMIC would damage an engine or supercharger, but you get the wrong tech on the wrong day at the wrong dealership, and they're going to find a way to blame it..

As you've seen, we are not afraid to take a brand new car apart and try and make it faster. Our S/C'ed car had 64 miles on the odometer when we bolted that kit on..
You can expect a lot of cool stuff very soon for this car. It's a very exciting time at Zero Point..
:D
An intercooler should in no way void the warranty. It makes the kit safer.
I have driven the car yesterday and there a few things I do not like. The power is laggy but it is there soon enough. The factory bypass valve is the cheapest thing we have ever seen and it looks like it belongs on a 1984 Volvo.
We have already caped ours off and it makes the car idle 100% better, and it builds boost about 500 rpm faster. We will have a Greddy replacement for this with our flange to make it work with in the next week or so.
The car runs very rich; with out the reflash on it, we assume that he reflash will lean the car out off boost. It may be better to not do the reflash and add boost or just keep the stock injectors. We will let you know what we come up with.
We will keep you posted going to the dyno on at 1PM
We are trying to figure out how to do a FMIC on the car. We are having issues on how we would route the pipes back to the throttle body. The shear volume of the charger is the biggest set back. Rest assured we will figure something out.

Looking forward to your SC upgrade line-up.
Oh, btw, when you were installing the blower, did you see a nice spot to tap a temporary boost gauge in? I'm not planning to have one in the car at all times, but would love the ability to tap one in occasionally.

there is a vacume line to the right of the compressor (where i plan to run my line)
and thank you for the heads up on the FMIC warranty issue.
why is the BOV that comes with the kit cheap? im not doubting you, im just curious, cause I love what you are doing for the guys that are and plan to go with the SC to keep the warranty.

the factory valve is 100% plastic and the valve can be pushed up with little to no pressure. The valve is continually leaking boost. by capping it the car seemed to respond much better and boost was quicker.
