WELL guys.... I had some rather UNfortuante events occur that prevented ME (The Vice Head of Nashville Scikotics) from attending our Photo shoot/BBQ. You would never guess that ONE freakin oil fitting would stop your ENTIRE car from being able to drive. You have no idea how bummed out/____ed off I am at myself. I should have just left the **** alone.

Here is the thing. The oil fitting on the Feed line going into the turbo has always leaked a little oil. So, I thought to myself, to just check to see if it's loose. I tightened it up some and cleaned it up a little bit. But I was not aware that the actual fitting was stripped, so when I went to tighten it, it stripped it even more, causing oil to gush out. I spent from 11am - 6pm trying to find a fitting EVERYWHERE in town.....NO ONE....NO ONE! had any that would work. The performance shops in town are freakin closed on Sat. And the only performance shop that was open was 45 mins away from me, and I drove all the way out there to only find out THEY didn't have one either. So, our car sat in the drive way going nowhere, and ultimately making this one of the WORST Saturdays I've ever had. The 1/8th mile track was open (they just revamped it), and it was looking real nice...But no racing for me. Tuesday I was planning on going to the 1/4 mile track, but weather man (who is rarely ever right) is calling for Rain. So, you can imagine I didn't have a good day, and didn't get any vid of Brian's exhaust.

BUT have no fear, I WILL get the sound bite for you guys. I've only heard it once, and that was from the inside of my car as he started it up and drove away a little.

AND TRUST ME! It sounds like it's a BEAST!

Some other good news though, I DO have video that I am uploading of our local 1/8th mile track, and some rather EXTREMELY fast cars and motorcycles just to show you what we roll with down here.

One bike (Turbo Busa) running 5.23 in the 1/8th
There was a Car that ran 5.66 in the 1/8th

AT LEAST I can give you guys some entertainment to make up from my short commings.

I know Subaru's have their distinct sound aswell, but why is it my buddies mostly stock STi with a 3.5" Straight Pipe no muffler not sound like a SRT/STi? But which, by all means it does Backfire like all hell, louder than a shot-gun and shoots flames about 4' long, but still no resemblence to a SRT-4s exhaust note.

wrx is a boxer engine and thats what gives it its unique exhaust sound, ty

^^You know what's the coolest thing about that B. Is that it looks to be tucked in so good that it seems that it does not hang as low as most 2.5 inch exhaust. Thanks for the Pics B. The quality and craftsmanship that was done in that exhaust goes FAR above anything that I've seen INCLUDING ZPI's own 2.5 inch one that we have.

hey - im hoping it doesnt because it looks good - im not hating. I like it if you have a larger turbo and bigger injectors (and everything else leading up to that point). If somoene is putting this exhaust on because they get to tell someone about it ...its dumb. Like you said in other posts - if you are running over 350whp then the exhaust looks sweet. ya know?

The exhaust has not burnt the bumper at all so far, and my car is making well over 400whp so the exhaust was not for looks, it was out of necessity.

Exactly, due to none other than Un-equal length exhaust manifolds... but that doesnt mean that, by your logic, it should stop my friends STi with No mufflers from sounding like it's SRT-4ish in it's exhaust note. It's not, not having mufflers that makes a SRT-4 sound the way it does. Ive heard them with mufflers and they sound the same as without, how do you explain that other than it's just the way a SRT-4 sounds. Sure with no mufflers you can get a little gurgle here and there, and a little backfiring (which the SRT isnt even known for) but by no means does that mean that a Turbocharged car with no mufflers will absolutely sound identical/remotely close to a SRT-4.

Sounds Nice... Nothing like a SRT-4 Geeee look at that.

And to be specific about what sound im talking about with SRT-4's I mean when you hear them rev-up and then the Burbble/Popping you hear as the motor slows.

Hey Travis this exhaust comes Downpipe back or Header back right? Meaning theoretically you could put this on a non-turbo tC such as my S/C tC?

Or by Header back do you guys mean DP back?

I am not 100% Positive on that, but I can find out the answer for you.. However, seeing as how the only 400hp tC you will see is 99.9% going to be turbocharged, I can probably say with a high degree of being right, that it's for DP back.

Oh I didnt mean I was shooting for 400whp, just wondering if it would fit. My HP goal is 300whp. Plenty for me seeing as my car is 100% DD, but will have another vehicle to save some miles on the tC likely by this summer. Street Bike Maybe.
