Default |Dezod| Competition Spec Exhaust Manifold Studs

After installing and building numerous turbo tCs, we have noticed a demand for stronger and longer exhaust manifold studs for the tC. Several people have complained about stripping the measly studs that are on the head when installing a turbo system. Not to mention the studs are not that long when you have a 1/2" thick exhaust manifold flange on your turbo manifold. All you can get is about 4 turns until it's tight on the flimsy stock studs and nuts. That is no longer!

Dezod Motorsports has come out with a multi-purpose stud that is manufactured of Stainless 300, which is impervious to rust and corrosion. The studs are rated higher than Grade 8 bolts at 170,000 PSI of tensile strength and have an Allen wrench port on the tip of them to make for easy install in your 2AZFE cylinder head. The stud kit also comes with 12 point nuts and flat washers. Stay tuned for pics, DIY and pricing!

One question, if looking at the engine, the bottom left stud...If thats made any longer I really dont see any flange clearing it. even with the stock stud its a tight fit on my log manifold. Was this tested or just thought up?

+1. Don't see that stud getting any longer as it will run into clearance issues. In for the pics to see.

Blah! Too much for just studs. If anything, we would have stock length, but just harder material.

Hate to come off as a dick and all but these just sound like ARP studs. Your probably using there dodge neon stud set and breaking it down into two sets.

i was gonna say its sounds like ARP studs, but it doesnt matter.. it could by ARP tc manifold studs brought by dezod.. If im not mistaken arp fabricates parts that are sold by other companies.. so even if arp makes them its still dezod
