I'm having to use a massive amount of teflon to plug 'em up.

Aint that the truth. I took those out and put thread sealant on the threads instead. Works fine now.

Our stuff works and lasts. We wouldn't sell it under the Dezod name if it didn't.

So what race car is this radiator being tested on?

Hello Mr. Instigator, been a while,

As said in the first post, a near identical model to this is already being used on Dan's tC. We are bringing it to the market, that's all. Mishimoto leaks and has fitment issues, not something you want on a race track.

You said it, not me.. If I'm not there to ask the hard questions, who would? Are you saying it's just a replica (knock-off), or it's the actual same one used from Dan's tC? Just FYI, there are no fitment issues at all with the Mishimoto, not sure where that came from. Mine dropped in perfect and I even have a slightly damaged upper radiator support. The only fault with the Mishimoto is the O-rings wear out on the drain plugs pretty fast. Replaced them with thread tape, never had a problem since.

nah drain plug issue is no biggy.. very easy fix, sealant or betting o ring.. No doubt this will perform better than the mishimoto on the track if its that thicker and the ac has to go.. but on the streets and daily used modded cars mishimoto will be more than enough for your cooling.. it all comes down to which application you prefer

My Mishimoto fits perfectly - not sure what fitment issues there are. The drain fitting is an easy fix, as Ace has mentioned.

It's till great you're coming out with a new application, Dezod - but it's not directly competing with the Mishimoto (since it doesn't retain A/C) so why bash on the Mishimoto? There are lots of happy users out there.

I wasn't bashing I was simply stating it's a more effective core for racing. Some people may be misinformed enough to look at it this way...

Mishimoto - Cheaper, keeps A/C, works the same for racing
Dezod's - More expensivce, no A/C, same performance.

When in reality it is a more durable unit with a larger core. When you're behind someone's bumper on the track and not getting the necessary air through the radiator, you need as much cooling as possible.

I like Mishimoto, and I sell their product. I just didn't want it to be compared to the Dezod one for the same application. You guys understand this well so I guess I don't have to worry and my apologies for coming off harsh.

Happy Modding, and Happy New Year to everyone.

I guess my whole thing was, how are you going to gauge the performance of this core? Are there plans to install it onto a tC that actually races in a circuit type event to test its capabilities. Yeah I get it, it's designed based on the one Dan has. Just curious if there are plans to use it in a Race environment first, and then start selling it?

This rad is almost 100% identical to Dan's. No real changes at all to it.

You can run it on an auto, but you will have to run an aftermarket trans cooler.
