I installed the mounts this weekend. It was a huge pita even though i had the car on a lift. I ended up loosening all the mounts and taking a huge bar and moving the engine back to get the rear mount out. Im supercharged and my rear mount was ripped in a few places! If your handy with a vise you can use it to press in the rear and front bearings. I took the old ones out by taking a saws-all to them. One word of advice before tightening the front mount, by the bumper, start the engine and put it in first and them reverse, the front mount has up and down adjustment and this will allow the engine to settle on the mounts, then tighten up the bolt through the front mount. I have the red bushings from nurspec but i thought i would post some info here for you guys since this post is already up. The shifting is much smoother now and the engine doesnt move when i downshift. I think the handling is better also but that may be because one of my mounts was shot before. The only downside is that there is alot more vibration from the engine. Its not too bad but it can get annoying when i an idling with the ac on. Also now even under a hard launch i have no more wheel hop. For $50 its an awesome deal, but be prepared to put some serious work in if your installing on your own and i would highly recommend getting access to a lift.

x2 ^^ .... ive only installed the front and yes... shifting is super smooth, extreme slow downs are not so harsh and the engine rocks very little under heavy driving.. i do have alot of vibration in idle and worse when the ac is on but its tolerable.... probably the vibrations will die down once the rear and side is installed also... and also once the mounts take a bit of abuse should soften up also... but over all this is fkn sweet!!! i also have the ingalls ETD but i plan on taking it off and that should also help smooth things up.. im pretty sure its almost NULL once u have all the mounts in...

its not for the _____man driver... or the rattle noise crybabies.. this is more for the true enthusiast in mind.. if your a softy then the ingalls ETD is better suited for you...

so far im super happy with just the front... next week or 2 i plan on tackling the side and rear...

thanks again paul for the great deal !!!!

I got took by ZPI on the motor mounts I paid for and never got. My question is compared to a full replacement mount how are these? Are they just as firm? Do you cut the entire old mount out and these go in or how do these install? Thanks.

These are very firm. I personally believe I would not got any firmer on a daily driven car. Also they fully replace all the original rubber. It will be impossible to go back to stock without buying new stock mounts. The original rubber will probably be completely destroyed (like mine).

mine is getting installed, we ended up trimming the front mount, that so we can fit the new bushing in, is that gonna be a problem?

After a few weeks with the new bushings I couldn't be happier. I also put my short shifter back in and the car feels so much more solid. There is less body roll and you can take turns much faster. This is a cheap mod that makes a big difference and I reccomend it especially those who are auto-xing and f/i

Yes the mounts make a HUGE difference, and for the price, can not be beaten. I have a few sets in stock after all of the back orders where fulfilled. I also have some master sets ready to roll as well.
