06 MAF on a 07

06 MAF on a 07
Alright, YES I did search, but couldn't find an answer to this.
The MAF is just pluged into that harness. If I buy the MAF for the 06, would it just plug into the 07's harness? Im trying to see other ways to get my turbo to work besides cutting the CAI I have now.
And from what I've been told, what this guy did is very unsafe?
