07 Scion tC spark plug question..Autolite XP Iridium 0.6mm?
Hey everyone, sorry, but I am a spark plug noob. Just bought myself a set of Autolite XP iridium spark plugs. My tC is stock except for a K&N filter (not CAI). I was reading up on the gapping of spark plugs, which differ from car to car, and from brand to brand of spark plugs.
Currently, the Autolite XP Iridium spark plugs are gapped at 0.6mm. I've heard differing views that plugs that are bought usually don't have to be modified. I'm not looking to get a performance increase - i just want to put in a set of plugs that will give me a slight increase in performance
and will not blow up my engine. Help!
Thanks you pros.

Take them back. The stock tC has iridium plugs in them already and you are just wasting money buying those. You won't get anything different from them. If you had a turbo getting a one step colder plug would help and if you had a built motor pushing 15psi you could get two step colder. Other then that the stock plugs are fine. Now bring those back and put that money towards your turbo so you can post in this section next time.
