btw fic setup thread needs to be rewritten...few things have changed...new software updates and such.

 

Thanks for your help problem solved after 3 computer was used to get the z104.hex file on. It's runnin like a champ. Ill be posting pics soon of my modded greddy kit.

 

Wait so what hex do we need to run on the FIC? x300 or z104?

Oh i had an ultimate a while ago paul, had the AEM EMS after that with the built motor, but now back to stock motor and FIC :/ and z104 i think the fic i have is x300 oh shiiiiet that might explain the 3k crusing into boost 10 AFR wall and studder....?

 

Hmm i just tried to reflash to z104 and it says "incompatible" hex file? wtffff

 

Why didn't you keep the EMS?

 

Go on to AEM Power Forums and DL the entire 3.04 file, which has the correct hex. AEM released several CDs with invalid hex files for z104

 

I had to sell the EMS to afford the stock motor with labor :/

Ok i deleted the existing hex files that the software came with and just dled the actual z104 of the site, now reflashing.. well see. u think the studder i run into at 3k (10AFR wall studder) at like 0psi is from not having this hex?
