Just got the s/c, ang bought the 12 psi pulley, will instaled it soon but

can the stok engine hold the boost? or does it need more parts?

i've heard that i need a better fuel pump,

i.know that it will need tunning but is that all it need?

will apreciate any info

 

it'l be fine on stock engine. you will probably need bigger injectors. fuel pump upgrade is not necessary but it's a good upgrade.

fyi, you should upgrade your bpv as well if you wanna see any extra boost.

for starters use the search button because this has been talked about already, also search for different bpv. yes the stock engine can run on the 12 psi no you don't need bigger injectors or a fuel pump. you will need to get tuned and a method of cooling, such a meth injection

 

you should have got the aftermarket bpv first. the 12 pound pulley is pointless w/o a bpv that won't leak boost.

you can try forge 007 or bosch110 sport but i dont know it bosch 110 can hold up 12 lbs.

yes, running boost means creating alot of heat, which is why at higher boost levels it is necessary to cool the incoming air charge with either an intercooler or meth injection or soemthing.

heck, just running 6 psi increases underhood temperatures 100 degrees.

 

Get an intercooler FTW! Yes you will loose boost, but you seem like a a noob thats getting in over your head, at least the intercooler will look cool since your going to be blowing all kinds of ____ up.

 

Water injection, BPV and tuning and you'll have a nice setup.

Larger injectors (pump won't do anything if your injectors can't handle the load), meth injection, bpv, tuning.

12 PSI without tuning is just asking for something to blow up.

550 injectors, pwr liquid barrel intercooler, cai and tuning would move you a little faster.
