14psi on stock motor? Heck, why not?!?!?!
I did 14psi looooong time ago..my stock motor was pushing 16psi. About the spinning tire thing, my car right now at 13psi on this built motor spins 2nd and 3rd but it pulls hard in 3rd all the way to 8000rpms. I will going to the Dyno real soon to see what this bad boy does 550whp-600whp at 25psi thats what Im shooting for. My turbo is rated well over that.
how can you not spin tires with over 400 whp? i have only 308 whp and i can spin 3rd gear. unless you have some super sticky rubber, i don't know why somebody wouldn't be able to spin tires in a turbo tc.
reminds me when i was on the stock tires (I forget what those pos's were) but at as little as 300hp i spun em often, swapped out to cooper zeons and didnt spin quit as much. on goodyear DR's i couldnt spin em on the street..well depending the surface and I suppose if i dumped the clutch at a high rpm i could.

On the street, I have Dunlop dezera star spec tires.
And I can go like 4 grand in 2nd and not spin. Now. Tgats only in warmer weather. As soon as it gets a little chilly those tires harden up and I spin like crazy.

everyone tells me to bounce the rev once or twice in first, but any time i come close to redline it bogs, real bad.... ive been told its because the 07 ecu sucks....

the 07 do at times act like that...strange thing is it doesnt do it everytime..Ill show a couple of examples here in a min of my car at the 1/8th mile track. because of the track distance I top out on third gear close to the line so i just let it ride and hit the rev limit.
here is were i bog (btw stock clutch slipping like hell in second and with DR's), what sounds like im just letting off the gas really is the rev limit.

I havnt pinpointed exactly what conditions will make it bounce or just seem to shut down.

Theres a difference between spinning in 3rd when doing a 3rd gear pull and spinning in 3rd when doing a 1st gear launch. Goin from 1st, I'll prolly spin to 4th gear, 3rd gear pull may spin, prolly not. Brake boost making almost full boost, yeah more than likely will spin. With the 16g spun alot worse, why? because power came in way earlier. Dont really see why this is so hard to understand...
