it would net you a gain, but not that of a full 3 inch system.

You could go the custom route for a full 3 inch back like me
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SE_JDI7_q3Q <----clicky

or dezod and ptuning sell their 3 inch setups

Custom if you have the cash. It soooo worth it. It will fit, sound, and look the best. Not to mention you'll have a custom 1 off piece.

Dezod does not have a 3 inch exhaust.

yeah there is no 3" exhaust offered by Dezod and only the s-pipe back by P-Tuning will work with the Dezod turbo kit.

not sure if i really wanna go custom at this point.

I could have sworn Dezod always advertised their turbo kits downpipe as being able to bolt up to stock location S-pipes. PTuning's S-pipe is positioned in the stock location. Why would it not bolt up with the right exhaust adapter?

Go with 3".

You may get Dezod come in here suggesting to stick with 2.5" - and that's because they only offer a 2.5"

And you may get PTuning in here talking about their 3" stainless steel exhaust with v-bands... but you're looking at almost $1000.

I would go custom 3" - that's what I did and it only cost me about $600. But to each his own - some people may want more flash.

V-band is more than just flash.

Not the place for that, Travis.

Go ahead and post it on one of the many other exhaust comparison threads. This is strictly 3" vs 2.5".

I have a 2.5" TT downpipe and 3" PTuning turbo-back exhaust. I hit 295 on a heartbreaker on 12PSI with a ____ty tune(roughly 330DJ/340DP to compare to others), going back to PTuning to get the car tuned for 10 or 11PSI and 300WHP/300WTQ. 3" > 2.5"

Yeah I forgot to mention my DP is also 2.5" and the rest of my exhaust is 3" - S-pipe included.

Carbon is right - 3">2.5"

2.5 down pipe and ptuning 3in s back exhaust right here made 270 whp with much room to grow one my fuel issues are solved. But when it comes to turbos no exhaust is the best exhaust they hate back pressure so if you gotta have one the bigger the better

Not the place for what? You made a comment, I made a comment. Wasn't turning it into some diabolical debate. It sounded condescending that all...like people were only in it for the "flash".

Perhaps I read to much into it...yeah?
