2010 scion tc need some help please
Hey guys I recently just bought a turbonectics turbo kit for my scion tc and iv heard these cars can handle boost great and get great power gains. My question is though I did work to my head as a precautionary I did springs retainers and stem all brian crower but I recently just bought the bc 2 cams I'm using the unichip will i have any problems with this tunning system. And iam thinking of using 12psi is that to much?

Tuning and finding convenient tuners to work on the Unichip is the major issue with that particular engine management unit. The Unichip that comes with the Turbonetics kit is programmed for running that turbo system on an otherwise stock car, so the modified head will warrant further tuning the fuel/timing maps.
With the Turbonetics kit, 12psi should be just fine. The longevity and functionality of running 12psi on the Turbonetics kit will depend on how good the tune is. Just to be clear, it is the power/torque that the car produces rather than the amount of pressure generated that is a better indication of what is safe to run.
Hope that helps. Good luck!

I appreciate the feed back yes iv heard the unichip is hard to find someone with the software but I got a hold of unichip and they r letting me rent out the software son I can custom tune but I have 70k on the scion so i just wanna make sure it can handle 12 on a daily driver ? I also recently upgraded to lsd quafie with all new syncros. I'm also in the process of building another block for the scion aswell. But I will post pics soon of everything and keep every informed on the build and post vids of the dyno day
