So I got my S/C installed friday. The dealership did the TRD S/C ecu flash thing and all is well to the best of my knowledge, However; after speaking with some people it seems I was supposed to get a second reflash because I am a A/T is this true? Did I not get something done that I NEED? I am trying to verify this, but not coming up with much.

 

i think it's something along those line for the auto. i dont know much detail on it so i cant add anymore then that. the auto's get the ecu reflashed..and then some module as well i think

 

I never got the module...

...oh no... is this something i had to order or dealership specific?

 

im not 100% about there actually being an actual module. one flash is for the fuel map and i think the other map is tranny related.

 

dont worry djpaper, the 2007 AT tC's don't need the map module.

the 2005-2006 tC's need the map module and trd tool to reflash the ecm and the autos need to be flashed through the TIS for the tranny flash.

the 2007 get both flashes through the TIS so they dont need the map module. its a laptop or pc they hook up on the car and download software to. they shouldve done the second flash since i believe it does both for the 2007 but i'd call and be sure they did the second one. they should because when they reflash with the TIS, the page shows all updates available for the supercharger install (1 being the new map and the second being the auto tranny update). it'd be silly of them to not see that and know, but you never know with dealers. good luck.
