Default 300whp auto tc

Just got discharged from the Marine Corps and I'm going to put aside 10k to boost my car.

My goals with 10k are.. 300whp+ in an AUTO tc.. I've been on these forums for a very long time just reading and never posting and the 2 kits I have in mind are TT or Dezod. I was wondering what other modifications I would need to hit 300whp as I've researched enough to know that the bolt on turbo kit would only net me around ~240ish whp. I know that I would need a tranny upgrade, but what EXACTLY would I have to do to my tranny. If anyone could help, could you post up what I would need ASIDE from ( turbo kit, tranny cooler, water/meth injection, full exhaust ).

thanks in advance

valve body upgrade for the tranny, as well as an upgraded torque convertor..mayb just build the entire tranny while you're at it. injectors, ems, good tune.

The Dezod kit can be "turned" up to 300 whp, with a custom tune, and maybe need internals....

depending on how mechanically inclined you are, you should be able to save a lot with installing it yourself

My TT kit gave me 320whp, so a bolt on kit can give you the power....what you need to put money into is the tranny.
stock is only good for 240

Either kit you mention will provide the power you want.

The real factor is how much you are willing to spend on upgrading the transmission.

Without it....doesn't really matter whose kit you buy.....your tranny will be toast.

torque converter and valve body = most important. Level 10 is who you want to talk too.

After you figure out what you want to do to the tranny, then its a good time to start doing your homework on a turbo kit.

Todd

yeah that nitto tc had a lot of work and tons of money, plus problems before reaching that number..

but yeah 10K spent on a manual will get you way more than 300hp.. 10k to reach 300hp on an auto might be a lil short

well, those are the responses amdforever got back cause he had big plans. Not sure if he even asked about a stage1 tranny.

In any event, he traded in his auto tC for a manual GTO.
That thing will put you back in your seat.
