So I bought a boost controller off the classifieds (TurboXS High Performance). I'm running the 440 injectors with my greddy kit and want to up the boost to 10psi. Will the 440's be ok for awhile with 10lbs? I'll probably be upgrading them to 550's later this year along with a different fuel management but that will have to wait till I finish the exterior.

 

it really doesnt matter how many psi ur running all that really matters is that the AFR isnt going above around 12.5 . I could say im running 15psi but if im only making 200 hp I could still run stock injectors. its all about CFM .

 

Well I'm pushing for about 300whp with about 11.5 AFR at WOT. Does that help any?

 

I dont think u will get 300whp with 440s .

 

if your goin to push 300whp i would tell u go with 550cc cause you dont wanna max out your injectors anyways... should only run.. 80% cycle or under...

 

Agreed... 550's would be a minimum that you would want to go with if you gunning for 300...

 

Ok so I'll look for bigger injectors.


My next question would be... Could I still get the drop in 550cc after they installed the 440s and had to wire them in? The 550s would still be able to just drop in or would something have to be rewired?

 

since you have the rc440's you can just swap out for a set of rc550's.
