500hp and up club
I know there are only a handful of tC's that have made it over 500hp, and many who've attempted ended up giving up. What are some of the pitfalls? Would it be feasible to have a DD tC at 400-450whp and then ramp it up to 500+ for a track weekend?
I'm on the verge of making BIG hp, but I still would like to be able to drive my car at least most of the week.

to get there u need some serious engine work not only internals. but the head aswell as some other things.. fuel return system.. bla bla bla .. the list goes on. u can drive it DD just get a EBC and have the boost low when u drive around.

Chris Rado uses the stock tranny in the "Black Betty" time attack TC, and when i talked to him at summit point he said the tranny in our cars is amazingly strong. At the time they were in the process of changeing out the tranny though, he cought a little air over a hump at the track and didnt let off the gas therefor busting 4th gear all too hell. That was at about 600 hp but they are capeable of 800 whp.

So actually you would need a spring with a infinite spring constant. y=Kx. where K -> infinity. lol
