lol miami driving what can i say. wel not cruise always that speed i mean when i was crusing that day 95 going to the track lol. we were in a rush. plus no traffic. but trust me i dont go that fast always it really starts at around 90 at 4000 rpms i think it is.

 

Your Maf Scaling is off at crusing speed and it will linger between the MAP Clamp and the NA Clamp. I seen alot of people do that with their maps. Thats why I like street tuning b/c I rescaled all areas of the map. I like doing 1/4 TPS and slowly go to 100TPS so i can get a clean smooth transition from boost and just vacuum.

 

i never thought of that....rescaleing the maps on the fic for smoother transitions should work as well too huh?

btw with meth do you still need to retard a little timing? and what process do you guys do to tune with meth?

It definitely seems like partial throttle tuning (not necessarily partial throttle boost) is way off. And yes, too much fuel can cause misfires - but too much fuel can also lead you to score your cylinder walls.. its called fuel wash.

Get this resolved ASAP.

Yes, You must rescale the 02 maps to keep it in open loop and then tamper with the MAF scaling between clamp and NA. You must retard timing even with meth on a high comperesion car regardless if you run pure 100 meth. Even though the meth does burn slower and cooler causing the comperesion to lower its still a NA stock comperesion motor with boost. You dont retard as much as you would with no meth but 1-2 degress more then Pump Gas. Must tuners add boost to take advantage of the meth. I like to add time to get better response and flow through the heads, plus the OEM head gasket and studs doesnt like much over 12psi.

im in the process of a manual swap.. and idk if wed have the same numbers lol.. i got a built block and am on 15 lbs right now.. he said im like 380 area, u got a .63 back and .70 front on ur 60-1?

 

Your actually on 16lbs (15.8lb) but sure 15lbs is close lol. You should be around 350-370whp... You should come to the dyno with us next week. Im fine tuning Mike's car maybe you should jump on for a quick pull if the tranny permits.
