I have it mounted beside the turbine housing of the turbo, I also have a bung on cyl2, 4 on the bottom, I have had it in different spots, EGT readings were exactly the same from where I had them seperate and beside the turbine housing, If they varied, it was no more than 20 degrees.

I have my cruising afr set to 13.5-13.6 thats probably why my egt's are lower.

what is your EGT's under boost?

EGT under boost will be high - usually around 1600*F WOT, 11.5 AFR, 11psi, 5th Gear, 90*F weather high humidity.

HMM.. your heatrange should be fine on your plugs, The most I have ever spiked to on the aem is 1300 WOT. thats with 15 degrees of timing .. q16 though

1600 is still not bad, my supras egts usually go 1650-1750, 24 degrees of timing, but 36-40 psi

So, the only thing left on the kit that's Dezod is what? Manifold, and intercooler pipes and piping?

From what I have seen is our manifold, wastgate, lines, intercooler, piping and AEM EMS. The only thing he replaced out of the kit (to my knowledge) would be the turbocharger. It's a little large for us to put something like that in a kit unless it's custom by request.

what was the EGTs again? 1300? thats a cool EGT, im sure more power could made with it fine tuned.. 11.7 AFR for a race gas is damn conservative yet power is good. Im curious how was intake charge temp though w/ the spray, i know the fan was pretty small and that spray should fix the heat soak

its usually that at the highest crusing, usually 1150-1250, and then WOT falls to 1210-1220. its very conservative for that gas.

Im gonna stick some VP import in it and run much higher timing.

My actual intake temps vary with the hood open they were 120 or so, and 115-150 with it closed in 90 degree weather.

I've been boosted for 3+ years. Sold the kit because I'm getting the PTuning kit. Dezod kit is not efficient enough for what I need to do (Time Attack).

PTuing already provides a 3inch vBand turbine housing with the GT3076r. Their kit is designed and more importantly...engineered to bolt up directly to their 3 inch turbo back exhaust system. When I sold my last kit, I was using a ZPI Stage 1 originally. Then I upgraded the kit to a 20G, redid the oil setup and redid the piping. ZPI obviously used log manifold, and I ran a 2.5 inch ZPI exhaust setup that was custom to an Aero Turbine muffler out back (no cat, no res).

After riding in PTuning's Time Attack tC, and seeing their EL manifold, GT3076r combo with 3 inch exhaust...it spooled like my 20G did, but carries the punch well beyond that. It's race proven, so that's my route now. Sold that kit, just waiting to get the rest of things taken care up to finish my Time Attack build.
