do you have to get the krank vents? couldn't you just run a line from the vent to the catch?
maybe I am missing something or the importance of the krank vents for $110

you dont really have to get anything. you only need gas to make your car run.
lines are run to the catch cans.
krank vents make the setup
1) better to catch blowby
2) REDUCE blowby in the first place (a catch can is only a bandaid afterall)
3) better on your engine by keeping boost from creeping in
4) more hp from vacuum and better ring seal (also goes with #2)
its in the writeup i did. follow the link in the first post.
fwiw, yes you can get cheaper check valves..copper ones from mcmaster carr for about 1/2 the price. but sorry, that would look terrible in my engine bay. i prefer the shiny metal to plumbing equipment.
