First of all I would like to thank Lance from Toyomoto for making the first Scion TC to work with an AEM computer.
The car was dyno at 314whp@12psi and is on 19’ wheels and StopTeck Big Break Kit, no open waist-gate.
The car performs flawless with the AEM. Toyomoto is making this available to everyone with a TC and is a plug and play setup.
For those of you that are a bit lost, the AEM is a stand-alone computer that will take over the stock one and resolve the air/fuel,
timing, spark and all necessary components on your turbo TC. Everything can be programmable with the AEM,
ask your Honda friends that have one. Hehe

also, all ems uses a map sensor, right? so we can actually vent into the atmosphere.

Idling is perfect, still using the stock ECU for the fly-by-wire only. Stock internals, @12psi the AEM does a wonderful job with the stock motor. No turbo kit, everything was done by Lance, Toyomoto.

Yeah man, looks very nice. Congrats to you. And like some others asked, what else is on the car? What turbo kit? What other bolt ons?

 

FINALLY! a STAND-ALONE for our cars! but the thing is i think it will only work on MANUAL trannys, as with the Honda's.

i think it'lll cost well over $1K for it. but still well worth it.

 

I imagine its gonna be very pricey. $1k plus??

it usually goes for $1200 but all the other accessories will make it more expensive. Congrats on your car. Toyomoto knows their stuff.

 

if we want to use the auto tranny, i believe it will take a special harness to integrate both ecu's. have the auto ecu control the auto tranny and AEM EMS control all the fuel maps.

i have done it on my boosted RSX auto. but it will take some expertise.

 

I will ask Lance about all your questions, I only know so much. Hope he is not to busy in the next couple of days.

Coming from a 600+rwhp Supra all I have to say is that this TC runs awesome!!
