AEM F/IC ISSUES, CAR HICCUPS, NEED MAPS, RUNNING TOO RICH -
he charged me 325 last time for zero'ing out the unit, and told me to comeback when i had everything squared away, i virtually paid for nothing when i went to him, which is why im soooo discouraged in using him again.
now i have the fic and im terrified of taking it to him and then he gives me some other reason why he cant tune it and then charges me an additional 325 AGAIN....
that's not fair buisness.

I'm running really rich right now, im sitting at 10.2 all the way when i boost, im so rich right now that im making almost no power.. my dyno numbers came in at 170hp yesterday .. i m ____ed about that on top of worrying about where to go for a re-tune
here are some questions you should ask.
1. what size are your injectors scaled to?
2. how much timing is pulled?
3. are you throwing any codes due to knock?
4. are you throwing any random missfire codes?
5. are you getting spark to all cyllinders?
also take some pics of your setup.

I know that I have thrown some random missfire codes myself, and the car is rich........ I know that my car became more stable as I drove it more but the richness still persists I bet your problem has something to do with the timing map...but definitley let the pro tune it
Just a thought. Most widebands don't show below 10.1 AFR. Perhaps you are way richer than that and you'r not taking out enough fuel to register on the wideband. I have heard of this before, worth a try.
If your running richer than 10/1, you would definately missfire from the spark being drown out.

Do you have a built head on the car?
Not as of yet. But I understand the point you are trying to get at, I'm just curious as if this unit has this feature. I came upon a very good deal on one and I just need to know if it does or does not for future referance.

Remember: No sense in revving higher if you are not making the power up there. If your power band falls off a cliff after stock redline, you are merely giving yourself a stroke job by revving higher.
