yes, but not alot, tuning an n/a tc is not the best investment.

best gains would be with intake, header, s-pipe, and exhaust. and even then, it wouldn't make that much more power with a piggyback ecu.

tuning with a piggyback ecu is more for forced induction applications.

i think at most, you can get 10 whp with the aem f/ic. like i said, tuning really isn't productive on n/a tc's.

let me put it to you this way, your car is already tuned to run making optimal power the way it is already.

so if you tune with an aem f/ic, completely stock, you don't get much results, but you add a cold air intake, header, full exhaust, and you have changed the perameters of the car alittle, so you can optimize how it runs now with these parts, but it really isn't that much of a gain.

how bout a camcon, i heard those do well for I/H/E on tc's and can increase up to 20 HP

any truth to this??

aright, how about I give you some good info other than the "it works better for boost, you wont see any gains"
That answer is true for the most part, but the reason why it isnt beneficial for N/A vehicles is due to the fact that the F/IC unit doesnt have the ability to add timing, only retard it. Again, which is good for boosted vehicles where the stock ECU timing is way to advanced to run properly and safely on a mid to high boost pressure system. If you want to extract the most power you can out of your I/H/E combo then you need to go with a piggyback where you are able to add a couple degrees of timing and lean out your A/F ratios safely to maximize your full potential of your bolt on mods. Hope this helps a lil bit as to why this piggyback is more suited for boost applications

BUT! Unless you are running cams, you will not need much more timing that stock if you run 93 octane at all times. The ECU is pretty good with managing timing on a stock set-up.
