Well....I just got a call from Todd and it looks like he and Tony over at UMS may have figured out the issues on my F/IC at least, and they were some big ones.
I should have more info tomorrow...

Well just went and installed the AEM F/IC and 550 cc injectors to the car and I let the car sit for one day. Went out to start it and the battery couldnt even turn the car over. Great!! I have an 06 auto tc zpi stage 1 set up with a Bloomslang PnP harness.
I guess you can add me to the issue list!

I will be making a suppliment kit to fix the problem. All auto tCs will have this issue with the FIC. It's a quick and inexpensive fix I will release next week. You and browndogg will receive the kit for free.
Yes Joe the quirky scientist!

Also, AEM said we could realisitcally just remove the TPS wire, but the FIC would not log TPS at all and see it. In all, that is an easy fix and considering all of the tuning is done via boost pressure, it will work.
Once he pulls the tps wire, the car wont start.
Then WTH was Henry @ AEM talking about:

That would be the solution. Remember to keep things simple only use what is necessary.

Best regards,

Henry--

I just spoke with Henry. When he said "remove the TPS wire", he did not mean clip it completely...he simply meant bypass the FIC...so go straight from the existing sensor wire back into the ECM without letting it hit the FIC.

Has anyone tried this? If that is the case then no need for a switch or relay.

i'm assuming you don't tap the line for the FIC..or if you have a harness you remove the part that taps to the FIC?

I tried removing the tps wire from the fic harness then the car doesnt start. I talked to my freind at synapse when i was at their shop and he said its an internal circuit thing that cannot be fixed with relays. You have to solder something.

apperently the guy who was working on the fic quit from aem midway through the process of developing the unit so that is why we are having problems. I am working with my buddy because he knows the guy who quit so I will see what i can do and keep you guys updated.

I guess i need to take this issue into my own hands because every suggestion and or possible fix that ive gotten doesnt work to fix it. So we will see. Hopefully it works out

I would appreciate you bringing up any problems to me personally before you bad mouth me in a public forum. Anyone that has ever dealt with me knows that if there are any problems, I will do just about anything to fix it.
