Alright my fic will not hold a tune. I turn the key off and it's gone. The fic is new. The harness has never been used but it's from 2010. I don't know if the harness has been updated? I heard of adding risistors to certain wires. But that scares me too much. Any advice guys?

How do you know it's not holding a tune?

Because after we tune it on the dyno I turn my key off and the tune is gone

software inside the fic......hex and slave

Make sure the following wires on the FIC still have continuity.

FIC 22 pin 4
FIC 22 pin 5
FIC 22 pin 15
FIC 22 pin 16

These are all power related.

Also, have you made any recent mods to the car like a turbo timer?

The actual fic was bought new in February.
And no Paul I havnt had any new mods. I will check those wires. I've heard of putting on resistors?

Resisitors will not cause or cure the issue of losing a tune.

I guess it will start sometimes and sometimes it wont
