hey guys

as most of you know im installing the turbo this weekend.

i was wondering if i was able to load the map onto the FIC prior to drivin to the shop where we are installing it

because im not going to be at the shop the whole time, so when the car gets started i might not be there

so what im sayin iss.....

1.could i load the map on beforehand

2. do i have to calibrate the Throttle sensor before i start the car and how do i do it

3. do i have to change any settings in the fic...u know the menu that comes up when u click settings and lists all those variables...do i have to touch anything?

yay!! good luck!!! I think you need to plug the unit so you can power it and load some stuff.. sure you can do it now if you have a pnp and maps.. i dont know if needs calibration, it might if its not preset for the tc

1, yes you can load it on beforehand, if your car starts up then watch your AFR's and make it to the tuners
2. you....don't HAVE to but your car won't run right without it, if you click calibrate itwill tell you what to do, you bassically turn car to on position and press throttle all the way down, and press ok.
3. if it starts up, don't press anything.

happy birthday dude ... i just got tune this past weekend on AEM F/IC 240 whp 242 torque on 8lbs on a t-netics kit, but for some reason she is acting up now ... sorry back to the subject ... all my tuner did was put the injector size and crank her up and pulled her on the dyno
